I've used hot water bottles since I was a kid. These are perfect to use on a cold winter's night to heat up your bed. Read the instructions! You must never add boiling water to your bottle or it can burst. I heat up some water and turn it off before it boils. I also add cold tap water to the empty bottle as an extra precaution. Then I pour the water into a tea pot so it's easier to pour into the bottle. Using a funnel, I add my warm (but not boiling) water. I don't fill it too much so the bottle stays flexible. Then I place it in my cold bed so when I get in, it's nice & toasty! These bottles feel well-made and really work well. Highly underrated!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are not as sturdy as they used to be *by R***T on June 28, 2022* I’ve ordered these two bottles at least 3 times. They are used daily, so get heavy usage & I used to be able to guarantee 12 months/bottle. Sadly one bottle split the first time I used it with this order. The second one is still going, but I bought another bottle from a different supplier, so it’s not used very much nowadays, which is probably why. When I received my new bottle it showed up how thin these ones are. I’ve recommended this double pack in the past but will no longer do so. The quality is just not there any longer & I suspect the durability is also compromised. I didn’t find the smell particularly offensive - rubber does smell the first time you use it, but the smell soon goes away. It’s the quality I’m concerned with & this seems to have gone downhill.
