However the design has now been 'improved' allowing access to SD card while Pi in case (something previously impossible). Now it is impossible to fit Pi as the bolts holding fan in place block the Pi from sitting above screw holes. Bolts removed and reversed and Pi fits. Then an issue putting lid on as now the holes have not been drilled to match the specification of the screw, so now screws protude. After the 'improvements' were made it appears no one actually thought about testing the case. ### ⭐⭐ Good cooling, but too many other issues. *by C***T on 17 February 2018* Compared with Corkea Tinker Case Aluminium with Fan Blue, the temps of my Raspberry Pi 3 dropped 4'C, which is great. However, the build quality is nowhere near as good. When it arrived, the sides were bent too much, so the screws would not fit all the way through to both screw holes. After I forced the screw holes to be close enough that the screws would go through both, I found that the screw holes are too big for the screws provided, so the screws just keep on turning.When used with an ASUS Tinker Board, I was happy that I didn't have to chose between fan or heatsink (like I have to with most cases), and I could use both. However, the cooling was not as good as other cases I've used. Compared with Aukru Clear Case with Cooling Fan, my temps went up 2'C. That doesn't sound like a lot, but when you're already at the top of what the board can handle, it becomes a problem because thermal throttling kicks in. In the Aukru case, the Tinker Board I used for my tests (a loop of 20 iterations of SysBench Prime to 20,000 primes on all four cores) would throttle on average about 17.66% of the time. With this case, throttling increased to 57.84% of the time (with clocks dropping 200MHz lower than with the Aukru).As a result, I cannot use it with a Tinker Board.
