They are sturdy and the drainage holes are bigger in the 2c. and the size of the drainage holes is smaller in the other sizes. I use them to rinse blueberries and strawberries for breakfast and straining my kefir grains. Once the grains have grown from the dehydrated state, the holes will drain it without letting the grains go through the holes. The sizes are marked on each one and the colors are different.
