Or are the supplied bolts too long ?** A: The bolts on my guard are tightened fully. There only 2 bolts supplied along with domed nuts and flat washers. Make sure you fit the washers. Hope this helps **Q: When there are no animals in the car can you still have the parcel shelf on with the dog guard in place?** A: Not in my experience unless I have fitted it wrong and I don't see how that could be possible.. I have a 2016 V40. The parcel shelf simply will not slot in due to an extruding little bar from this guard. It might be able to fit i if you force it but it would stop the rear door from opening. **Q: Are you able to have the headrests up while this is installed? All images show them folded down.
