The device is able to be dismantled and stored in a non conspicuous container, that to me could be mistaken for a glasses case or something similar, so discretion is assured here. Second box ticked. The device is so easy to assemble and dissemble. The device comes with clear (and somewhat funny) instructions on how to do this, but you really dont need them. When this is in your hands you just know what to do with it. No reading necessary. Use! Now I will try and be as discreet here as I can. The instructions are clear and helpful, But I would strongly suggest that on your first use you stand in a shower, with a bucket and practise posture and aiming. It is not as easy as it looks especially on the first try, there is a knack to it, but once you figure out the perfect pose and angle to use, its like riding a bike, you never forget and that is it. Mission accomplished. The device fits snugly and works, the only thing I don't like is the area which forms to a tip, that would sit just by the back door. Due to this being plastic and very rigid it can feel uncomfortable against your person, as you slide it away from you for removal. I have poked myself with it (don't laugh) and it did hurt, so just be mindful of that. You are supposed to flick the device dry. But residue does remain. If I can and have access to a sink I run water through it, shake, then stick it under a hand dryer for about 30 seconds, then pop it back to the container. If i cannot access a sink, say if I'm outdoors I suggest a lot of shaking then putting it back in the container with some tissues or wipes handy to clean device and hands before putting it away. Love being able to stand up and discreetly pee without having to crouch, loose balance or at worst wet feet, I have not looked back and use this device quite often (gigs, rambling, camping etc) I would highly recommend. Review: No advantage to being a man remaining! - I absolutely love this product and have recommended it to all my female friends. I now truly believe there are no more advantages to being a man! Personally I love the pink SheWee and whilst the extension pipe gives a bit more added confidence that you'll clear a greater distance(!), is probably not essential. However the case is useful and for the slightly added cost I am glad I got the Extreme and not just the funnel. I keep mine in the car and so its useful to have it packed away in the case hidden from view - when I've pointed it out to male passengers in my car they get a bit freaked out by sitting so close to it! I haven't got or tried out the pouch that you can get with it (the one that you pee into) so can't comment on that. I did once try peeing into a bottle - word of advice here though, make sure its big enough as us girls aren't used to seeing how much pee comes out in one go so you'll be surprised at how much you can generate! My main tip for using the SheWee is to be confident. I first tried it for real (i.e. not just in the shower) on a camping trip in the hedge in the dark. I had a young baby with me who was asleep in the tent so it would have been an ordeal to get him up and trek to the toilet block. I could feel and hear myself wee-ing but didn't know quite where it was ending up. Thankfully it had done the job it was meant to do and was so easy. No pulling down of trousers or bending down so is very discreet. Make sure you give it time to drip through after you finish and give it a little shake (just like the men do) as you slowly pull it back out. A candid review: First trial was in the shower (no water running while I tried it as I wanted to make sure I could tell if it leaked or not). With the extension tube attached, it easily cleared my feet (important!) and there wasn't any leakage out of the top. Second trial was still in the shower, but without the extension tube. I wanted to see if the extension tube really was necessary (no extra tube might mean less fussing about whilst standing in narrow, nasty port-a-loos!)It didn't clear as far away from my feet but I think it will be fine if I stand quite near the toilet. Also, during this second trial, I was leaning backwards a bit and there were a few drips out of the top. Leaning slightly forward helps prevent leaks. Was nervous about the third trial as I decided to try it over the toilet. Worked just as well as the first time, no leaks! Went right in the bowl but just keep in mind during that final bit of the last little tinkle doesn't have the same...momentum...well, it explains man-wee on the toilet seat. Using this is a real no-brainer and super easy. I think holding in the most natural spot (without overthinking where/how) also helps. I was worried I'd place it all wrong, but when you consider ladies know where to use toilet tissue without thinking about it, I kind of just knew where this thing should go. :) There are some downsides, one of which is viewing wee from an entirely different viewpoint, key word being 'viewpoint'. The other is having to handle the wee-covered contraption and put it back in it's case, stick it in my handbag, then pull it out again. I know they say urine is sterile and all, but still. It brings pee a little too close to my belongings. Though I suppose I can easily wipe it with a tissue after use, before packing away. If you're debating getting one of these, I'd recommend it. Ultimately, it works.
