As you can imagine I went though the first few sleeves pretty quick and decided I liked the Appeggio (Purple), Ristretto (Black) and Capriccio (Green) the best. At $.70/each they can get a bit expensive after a while as I typically just drink them as an Expresso (not Cappuccino mixed with the frothed milk)I decided I would try a "third party" compatible alternative.I opted for the Intenso (Red) as I had read some reviews that they tend not to be a strong as the Nespresso.In short, these are OK. They don't seem to be as creamy and tasteful as the Nespresso brand which I mix with a little sugar. Frankly not sure I would purchase again and will probably go back to the Nespresso brand.They may work for you as Cappuccino. Although another $.40 sounds like a lot per cup, worth it for me.For $20 it was worth a try. After trying eight different brands my favorite thus far are the Pressogno brand pods, but I decided to try 100 pods of the Cafe Pure's Arabica Espresso INTENSITY 9 (black pods) for fun.Cafe Pure's Arabica Espresso is tasty and rich with a very nice aroma. My Inissia easily pierces the hard plastic pods and it brews perfectly. They delivered the coffee in two days (all coffee shippers deliver promptly; no one wants to deal with grumpy caffeine fiends!) Cafe Pure packs 10 pods in small boxes as opposed to long boxes.So, this is the good stuff on par with the Pressogno brand and close to the pricey Nespresso pods.
