It is an ultra compact gasifier design intended for minimalist backpacking or bug out application. It is designed to be used with small solo sized pots down to 6.35 cm in diameter or other larger backpack trekking cookware. The recommended weight for the Scout is approximately 1.5 Kg small pots. To start I use cotton wool soaked in Vaseline, always lights first time and tend mostly to heat water for brews and washing with lake water put through a pump and filter. Picture show the start of gasification.For where I use this we are not allowed open fires so this is Ideal for putting on the aluminium plate I have on my fishing trolley.
