If you add 2g per 1000 litres of water (which is correct) you would add 10g for 5000 litres of water to raise it by 1ppm not 3g as stated above. The same goes for the second part of his answer: Assuming you have a pool of 5000 litre capacity with Zero ppm chlorine levels to raise the levels to 3ppm you would need to add 30g (2g per 1000L x 5 for 5000L x 3 for 3ppm) simple maths. **Q: Are these slow release** A: No if you want slow release you need tablets not granuals. **Q: What type of chlorine is this?
