Meade Breeze is a character and so are his friends. The stories are based around his travels and adventures along the east coast and down into the Caribbean. He lives on a Trawler and goes on "missions" that he somehow gets involved in. Since I'm older I can relate to some of the situations Breeze finds himself in. They can be read superficially or metaphorically.
