What I don't like is that the sheets and tips are very thin, so if they do get stepped on by anyone heavier than a 10 pound cat, they will break and you will have to cut the broken tips out of the sheet. I wish they were more durable and less costly. I did consider that anything stronger might cause harm. The tips are stable enough to deter but I can't imagine them wounding without breaking first due to how fragile they are. I justified the expense in terms of plant costs saved, but was hesitant initially due to the price. I believe it's a small business. Overall, I recommend these and would buy again. They have absolutely saved some of my plants where many other solutions have failed.
