Review: Great replacement for oem - Works great, installed on my 2003 Chevy trailblazer LS, was having intermittent 4x4 issues put this replacement encoder motor on and it works perfect now. All 4x4 options work now with no issue at all. Keep in mind, if your truck is stuck in 4x4, you may have to manually turn it back to 2wd when you replace this to get the splines lined up correctly, just put the truck in neutral rock it back and forth and then crawl under click the splines (counterclockwise) back to 2wd and it was just plug and play afterwards. Very happy. Review: Perfect fit, works accordingly. - It was a straightforward direct replacement, perfect fit. It worked as expected, all wheel drives engaged no problem. Starting with 5 start review for now. Will test now durability and more severe conditions like low cold freezing temperatures. Initially wouldn't move clockwise. Started vehicle, put it in drive, reverse, then left it in neutral. Shaft then moved to center easily and part went on easily.
