Review: not worth money - Not worth money, hinges are rusted and i had to change them for new ones, the turning plate kept catching on the switch underneath and kept making loud clunking sound every time the plate turned, inside all the screws are rusted, and missing bolts in places. Very poorly made and put together, worth a fraction of the price advertised.

**Q: Does it have HMV dog emblem on it**
A: No. There is not the dog emblem .

**Q: Does it play any record**
A: No. Only records that are designed for the era. Mainly made of slate and rotate at 78 Revolutions Per Minute ( RPM ).

**Q: Dose it play 45s?**
A: No.  Extremely fragile broke after one play. Don't buy.

**Q: Is the sound good?**
A: It is quite loud and doesn't have a volume switch. Also, as expected, there are no adjustments for base and tone. It's more of a decorative piece than a functional item although it will play the records ok.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Really just a display piece

The gramaphone is beautiful. Though different to the picture the wooden box doesn’t have a hmv sticker on it as the picture showed. It came with a record that plays ok I also got other records to play in it and they don’t work so I wouldn’t suggest buying this for playing records on more as a display piece.
