For this bird wall clock, the batteries is not included. **Q: this is French 's bird sound,do you have Italian'bird sound and German'bird sound?** A: I am not sure if those are French birds or not but not familiar to California . You might would like to check with the seller or Belinlen if they have more variety of bird sounds from different area. My understanding is what you see at Amazon is what they have. **Q: My minute hand stopped working what should i do?** A: It may have just worked itself loose from the “drive shaft”. If you can remove the plastic cover without breaking it, you should be able to tighten it back onto the shaft. **Q: Why only the green color has free shipping? I want to buy the brown color to ship to Colombia.** A: I wouldn't recommend this clock because of the way it was shipped. It came in a mailer type envelope and was destroyed in transit. Screeches - not bird songs *by A***A on December 13, 2018* For the money, compared to the kind I've had 2 of previously, this is a fair time-minder I chose for the novelty of having new birds to replace one that still keeps great time but the bird calls no longer perform. Instead of the expected soft Hooting of the 2 owls, it's a jarring, blast-you-out-of-bed SCREECH at 6:00 a.m. and again at Midnight when it then goes quiet for the night. I have it on my stairwell wall where it is visible - and hear-able - from both floors. It wasn't hard to set, but honestly, though it is a handsome clock, it isn't an especially pleasing chirp/song/hoot to hear. I never sent anything back to Amazon before, but I really do want to replace this with the much-preferred and enjoyed old design and calls. It's probably going to make its way into the flea market / Good Will bin soon.
