Review: Bad Cake - Today (15/04/2021) I opened the second of three loaves that I purchased. All three had the same sell by date 11/2022. I always make an effort to closely look at the packaging to ensure that it's still sealed and all appeared to be good prior to opening. As you can see from the photo the loaf was moldy. The first loaf consumed several weeks ago had been perfect, as was the third one opened after discovering the bad loaf (I didn't eat all of it, just had 2 slices, but I could easily scoff the lot in one sitting). I do not have a problem paying the high price for these loafs, as they are normally always of the highest quality and delicious. But I do have a problem with paying top dollar and throwing them out. Not acceptable.

Love malt loaf which is not easy to find in the USA, I am from the UK. It came well packaged, not squashed, which it has a tendency to do. I like the fact that the expiration date in not for another 9 months which means I don't have to eat all 3 of them quickly.
