It is as easy as removing the dashboard,removing old mini bulbs and soldering these. No resistors are required they work directly with 12V. They provide very bright clear white light which I think is much better than stock bulbs. The only thing you may want to do is maybe put a piece of white electrical tape to reduce the amount of brightness if you don't want them to be too bright.
