No Raspberry pi's come with a power supply because apparently everyone has old spare mobile phone chargers. However this fails to take into account most old chargers are 1A or less, and the rpi constantly complains about having low voltage. This power supply fixed the problem immediately and also has a handy on/off switch which saves the power port (although you'd be better shutting down the rpi properly rather than just cutting the power to avoid SD card corruption). I'm happy with this power supply. Decent price, a micro USB connector (becoming more rare now and no-one wants to mess about with Usb‐C to micro USB adaptors) and a UK plug, despite the photo on desertcart and the illustration on the box.
