## Description

Product description Trax Factory is based in California USA - Since 2013 Stay Warmer in a Range of Conditions The Hot Sockee Neoprene Toe Warmers have been designed to be worn over your socks and inside your shoes or boots, concentrating warmth in the toe area. Similar to winter apparel layering is the key for keeping warm and dry. Hot Sockee is an extra component that can be used to keep your feet warm. Sock and shoe selection for the appropriate climate you are in will maximize how effective the Hot Sockee will be for you and ensure you toes are warmer. Slight bit room in your Shoe is needed for proper fit & warmth Made from High Quality Neoprene that offers best heat benefit while maintaining flexibility over a wide temperature range. 1.5mm Neoprene offers excellent heat retention while still fitting properly. Thicker 3mm just wont fit comfortably in most shoe or boot situations. Why dont we use thicker Neoprene? After extensive testing in the wild we felt 1.5mm High Quality Neoprene offered excellent heat retention while still fitting in most boots and shoes. Hot Sockee is made from a High Quality Neoprene that offers best heat benefit while maintaining flexibility over a wide temperature range. You can definitely feel the difference! Anywhere you need to keep you feet warmer Hot Sockee can help! Since the Hot Sockee is not a full length sock the ideal way to find your perfect fit is by M easuring Your Foot Width . The Hot Sockee does stretch a bit but you do not want the fit to be snug. If you are in between sizes it is usually best to size up. Measure Foot Width For Best Fit - Size Up If Your Between Sizes

Review: sking and mt biking, Review #2 - After almost a year of use I am giving these Hot Sockees 4 stars. They have held up extremely well providing protection from the cold and also improving the fit of an oversized mt bike shoe. On the coldest days I do place a heat pad between my socks and hot sockees. The neoprene is compressible and I have not had issues with them being too bulky in my ski boots. Just bought a second pair as a back up, although I don't see these failing any time soon. Really great product and I am impressed with the quality! I only wish they offered a similar product for cold fingers. I may just try these with a ski mitten and hot pad. Hotsokee, Ill be your guinea pig if you ever offer a solution for cold fingers! First Review: I mountain bike year around and ski during the winter. This past winter we did some upper 30 deg starts and I developed a cold injury to my upper toes. I had the same issue a couple seasons ago sking but had forgot about the issue. I beleive its called Chilblains, starts out itching severly like atheleats foot but is confined to top of toes. The symptoms last for days then start burning and become senstive to touch for anothe week or two, no fun! The down side is they add bulk to the toe area. So, I first tried them cycling. Even after lossening the hold down straps on my shoes my toes were really cramped. The second outing was slightly better. I just returned from three days of sking and I was pleasently suprised to return with healthy toes. I did a test fit at home leaving my boots on for a bit to gauge the fit and see if thinner socks were needed. Come ski day I wore my regular ski socks and backed off on the toe buckel. I was comfortable all day. I also beleive the material has compressed slightly making for a better fit. I plan on buying another pair for back up.
Review: Reynauds/poor circulation peeps rejoice! - 6month Update: still worth it! I now have 3 pairs and have sent 2 more as gifts lol definitely recommend air drying for longevity though. Protip: wearing with any thickness sock definitely helps prevent turning your feet into a swampy mess (I sweat alllllll over even when cold just in general to begin with 🤷‍♀️) Tldr; Do they look ridiculous? Kinda. Do I get weird looks if I take my shoes off at someone's house with them on? Definitely... Is it worth it anyway? ABSOLUTELY! I was skeptical but desperate, since even wool socks/slippers/etc genuinely don't help once my feet even get chilled, to the point even thick socks will be cold to the touch when I take them off and I legit require an external heat source to warm my feet back up. I wear women's 7.5 wide/8, and the large is perfect to slip over both thin & slightly thicker socks, might be a squeeze for super thick (great over skii or hiking socks though, plenty of stretch without losing elasticity for me). I do wish they came in muted colors or black or something so they're less "in your face", but I'm about to order another 2-3 pairs as backup regardless (stash in car, purse, travel bag, etc) I didn't really use them for a while since they do add a bit of bulk and we're hard to fit inside a lot of my normal shoes since I already have a slightly wide foot at my toes, but this past winter I busted them out while working from home and was very surprised that they were so effective. I'd given in and bought expensive heated socks & insoles, but the upkeep (remembering to charge, special laundering, etc) was becoming a hassle & I started preferring these actually! Started wearing around the house with just (socks since they slightly pad the ball of the foot if you have hard flooring), as well as inside roomy snow boots with only slightly-padded socks, and they're only showing minimal wear directly under the ball of my foot! (I have fallen arches = regularly roll onto the inside ball of foot as I walk + slight twist as I push off to switch feet, so this is where my insoles always have extra wear). They've held up better than I thought overall. my house doesn't really run separate laundry loads, so I wash like regular socks: on normal/heavy (only sometimes in a mesh bag if I remember), and either air dry or in the dryer on medium/low heat like normal, depending if I remember to pull them out - not sure if they would hold up to high heat very well since they are synthetic material, may melt Had trouble wearing in shoes initially when I was wearing the print/seam side under the foot, the print would cause some friction on the bottom and start getting bunched at the toes... but since I started putting the seam/print at the top of the foot that's completely stopped Best heating method I've found is slip them on over socks: thin sick will work, normal socks/some padding is warmer, or moderate thick wool/skiing/hiking socks for best results. If I'm feeling extra chilly or feet are particularly cold I'll also put on slippers and I'm golden - even after my feet were ALREADY cold (which is a miracle)! They do make my feet just a touch sweaty sometimes, but that's me normally too so I don't mind & may not happen to you, and it's way less sweaty than other "solutions" have done so I'm guessing it's minimally caused by these & just how my feet are.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these good over thermal socks for a full day of skiing in 15 degree weather?**
A: I would say yes. I wear them for hunting (sitting motionless for 3-4 hours at 10-25°F). Wearing these with one good pair of wool socks, is more effective than two pairs of wool socks and a set of toe warmer pouches.

**Q: are these meant to be worn inside your socks on bare feet or over your socks?**
A: The Hot Sockee can be worn either way, however the original intent was and still is to wear over your socks in shoes, boots and slippers. We feel this is best is cold temps and when exerting.

The uses are broad and being a premium quality neoprene sock Hot Sockee can also be worn directly on bare feet for other uses that do not require a sock, open shoes or even under a sock many customers have reported.

**Q: Do they need to be washed after every use?**
A: They do not need to be washed after every use. Wash as needed. Personally I wash seasonally or if they become muddy or dirty. This is mostly because they are worn over your sock layer. Thank you for your question.

**Q: How thick is the neoprene?**
A: Hello. The neoprene is thin and wearable, nice feeling on the foot. When you wear it it feels like you are not wearing anything extra on the foot.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Bit Snug But Do Keep Toes Warm
*by S***E on November 7, 2019*

This morning I wore a pair of Hot Sockee - Neoprene Toe Warmers w/a pair of Pearl Izumi Elite Thermal Wool Socks on my predawn ride. The Hot Sockees are size Large, I wear a size 9.5 Vans & size 10 Topo (running shoe). I wore the Vans on my ride. The Hot Sockees are snug (maybe they’ll stretch over time, if not I’ll order an X-Large pair & give these to my wife). The toe warmers are not very thick, they did not make my shoes feel any tighter. The socks did not fall during my ride. The temperature was 40F (5C) during my 40 minute ride. With these, my feet & toes remained warm & the cold was never an issue. Prior to these toe warmers, I was using a circular piece of bed sheet & aluminum foil to protect my toes. Although this worked, the Hot Sockees do keep my toes a bit warmer. They will also help me conserve on foil. I’ll update this post as I wear them in colder temperatures & on how they hold up over time. UPDATE 12/31/2019 The Large were too tight for me & did not stretch out, but for my wife (woman size 8) they fit well. They do keep her toes warm while running in 30F, but made her shoes feel a bit tight. I purchased a pair of XLarge Hot Sockees, they fit me much better, they do not squeeze my toes together. Although they do make the toe box of my Vans Pro V's a bit tight when worn w/my Woolie Boolie socks.
