Review: Worth every penny - Bought this DS18 to replace an MB Quart DS1-254 10" shallow sub rated for 300w RMS @ 2 Ohms after clearly reaching max excursion in a custom fit box tuned to 32Hz. Running 500w RMS @ 1 Ohm with this sub, no longer hitting max excursion, 32Hz notes hit much harder, as well as smoother overall performance. 10/10 would recommend!
