The one we have has a screw lock on each side to tighten to the bowl.** A: The seat is not that secure. It has a small plastic ring that goes into the bowl and the rest depends on luck. Also affordable. I kept the box, and put a plastic bag down in it, and set it down along side of the toilet in anybody who doesn’t want to use the little riser can just set it down in the box temporarily where it’s convenient to store or remove. I only need this for a few weeks so it was a perfect solution. I tried an over the toilet potty chair and it was just too big and uncomfortable. I bought one for each toilet in the house and will have for years to come when needed. It is smaller than the elongated toilet bowl, but I found that to my advantage when getting on and off of it and reaching through it to take care of business of cleanup. So all in all I give this a good solid four stars. The only thing that could be a problem is that it can be a little wobbly on the toilet.
