The gauge of the wires were too big for a standard RJ46 connector but they fitted perfectly first time with these. It says tool free, but you will still need wire cutters and wire strippers to expose the wires and cut them to the correct length to fit into the connector. You dont need a crimping tool, but you do need to apply some pressure when assembling to made the contacts push into the wires. Fairly quick and easy to use though. Review: Works well. I accidentally pulled the rj45 connector off of a 50m armoured CAT6 cable, once I figured out the wiring was T568B, I followed the wiring images on the connector. Coupled with same day delivery, I’m back up and running!
