I currently have four rescue dogs of various ages, shapes and sizes - the 'newest' a lively Chihuahua Jack Russell cross, unused to the lead and an escape artist. Although small, he's deep in the chest. This (in size small) is just the ticket. It's a step-in so doesn't go over his head and the Velcro fastening allows for adjustment. Although I firmly believe a dog can, if it's really determined, escape any collar or harness, this feels completely secure. I've spent a small fortune over the years on ill-fitting harnesses (why do they use such horrible sharp stitching?) and have cupboards full of them. I may well invest for the other dogs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value and good quality *by R***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 October 2019* We are very happy with this harness. Our little girl had grown out of her first one, so we wanted one which would be adjustable as she's not full size yet! As she is a crazy jumping bean and gets very excited during walks, her harness needs to be sturdy and secured with metal rings for safety. This one has 2 metal rings on the top, to attach the lead, with very wide velcro, plus a strong plastic clip under her tummy. The wide velcro means that at present we can do it up as small s it will go, but there's plenty of scope to loosen it as she grows. It is a doddle to put her in, even when she's realised what's happening and starts to get frantic and mad! Her front legs simply go into the holes, then you fasten the velcro and clip round her tummy. It looks very comfortable for her, there's no rubbing or chafing and the fabric is breathable whilst still being strong. Finally, it washes beautifully, I put it in a mesh bag in the machine to protect the strap and clips, and it was fine, also, it dried very quickly, which is a bonus. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ most important was, it fits my tiny puppy securely. *by S***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 December 2019* it tried another x small harness from a large store, but it swamped my tiny puppy and would have easy for him to get out of it.
