Review: UPDATED REVIEW:1 to 5 stars - PLEASE READ - I initially wrote a critical review of the Solo unit that I purchased, which led to the company reaching out. Their customer service was exceptional, prompting me to instead try the BCONE unit—a decision that significantly improved my satisfaction with their products. Below are the key distinctions between the Solo and BCONE units that, in my opinion, are key in being satisfied with your purchase. Initially, I chose the Solo over the BCONE because the BCONE had a lot of poor reviews related to its app. However, both units require the app for setup. And the Solo actually requires the app exclusively because there is no parent unit. Despite initial reservations due to negative app reviews, the app functioned flawlessly, offering a seamless setup and user experience. In my opinion, the Solo unit is designed for when you are going to be near the pool where brief distractions could lead to missing a critical incident, such as a pet or child accidentally entering the pool. However, it falls short in delivering adequate sound alerts or maintaining a stable Bluetooth connection for INDOOR monitoring. During my tests, the Solo’s alarm was inaudible from inside our house with the windows closed. Perhaps for others it would be enough. I’m sure there are industry standards for how loud it can be to prevent hearing damage. Conversely, the BCONE unit surpassed my expectations in every aspect.The BCONE’s parent unit is VERY LOUD (as it must be); I could undoubtedly hear it in every room in our house and it would certainly wake me up. Given the BCONE’s vastly superior alarm on the parent unit, for us, it emerges as the superior choice. The parent unit is also much more convenient to use rather than pulling out a phone to arm/disarm especially when one could also have wet hands that prohibit use of a smart phone. Although it represents a higher investment, the BCONE is the optimal choice for around-the-clock monitoring, including overnight. In contrast, the Solo may still be a viable option for those seeking additional safety measures while remaining outdoors near the pool. Because, as you likely know if you’re shopping for pool alarms, it only takes a few seconds of distraction. And drowning are not like in the movies; they are mostly silent. Stay safe, people.
Review: Not worth the money - This is probably the worst $150 I have ever spent. I initially purchased because of the somewhat good reviews I read. When we opened it and put it in our pool, it worked semi-fine. It wouldn’t connect to my phone unless I was within 10 feet. After a few days, it wouldn’t even connect unless I was less than 5 feet away. It will not alert my phone when the alarm is going off (my husband purposely set it off to test). We have 3 young children (5, 3, and 1 1/2) so we purchased this as a piece of mind, which we did not get. Do not waste your money!

**Q: What if the device won’t connect to the app?**
A: Verify that your phone is updated to the latest software and the app is the latest version Enable Bluetooth and full permissions to the app Have the device within 3' from the product when pairing Try force quiting the app contact support from the app

A: Turn on the alarm and wait 20 seconds. Use a 4 gallon jug of water or 3-one gallon jugs tied together. Push it from the pool deck at the farthest location from the alarm. The alarm will sound a couple of seconds after the water action arrives to it.

**Q: What if the test doesn't trigger an alarm?**
A: Make sure to locate the pool unit at the center of the pool. Raise the sensitivity level (e.g from 3 to 4). If the pool is larger than 20’X40’, it is recommended to add an additional pool unit.

**Q: How can I avoid false alarms?**
A: Attach pool unit with the provided attachment kit to pool side. Pool unit location should be far from pump outlets and skimmers Remove any floatings from the pool. Reduce Pool Unit sensitivity from App. Use DND to avoid false alarms during the night.

**Q: When should I replace the batteries?**
A: Batteries are included and allready installed. Batteries lasts up to 18 months and replaced easly with 2 standard AA Alklaine Batteries. For best performance, we recommend using Lifebuoy AA Batteries.
