These are nice & thick, perfect diameter to wrap enough times to hold my hair & no pulling or snagging when removing. I like that they don’t have the metal bit in them but that’s about all. My hair is naturally fine (as blondes usually are) and after a few hours of wearing these they really hurt my head. I think the thickness of them causes pressure on the head and so after a few hours my head aches, so for me they’re not practical for all day use. I also find that the ponytail tends to droop down so the bobble pulls the hair down, adding to the pain. I constantly have to correct it.
