The 5.0Ah. is a solid battery option for big jobs. i use it for my EGO leaf blower. i admit it is a bit heavy using it on large leaves area to blow and will require changing hands due to the weight. Beside the weight it is very easy to load and remove from the blower. 5.0Ah. is very powerful and will get the job done.
Review: Great battery. Life of battery cuts our whole front as d some of the back. We have 2 so that we have a back up but if you have medium size yards this batter will work for you.

A: Just gives you a longer run time.  All EGO chargers and batteries are interchangeable.

**Q: How can i ensure ego products purchased on amazon are covered by ego’s warranty?**
A: Unfortunately, you can't until you receive the battery.
About all you can do is contact the seller and negotiate, or return the battery
Best bet is to buy from a known authorized seller...Ace Hardware and Lowes
Personally, I won't buy EGO products through Amazon any more

**Q: Lately, the battery, while in use, shows green bars and suddenly all flash red, and mower stops, is it a problem w/ battery memory?**
A: could be....the flashing red without a preliminary orange/yellow warning probably indicates a bad battery incapable of holding a full charge....you might contact the seller or the company.....

**Q: My ego 56v BA2800 battery died after 1 yr! What other company brand is more reliable for my lawn mower?**
A: Check with ego they might have a warranty on the battery

These batteries hold their power pretty darn long and charge up fairly quickly as well. One battery will run my Ego 765 blower in Turbo mode for 20 to 25 minutes. Which I think is pretty good. I'm sure it would go well over a half hour at normal speed, but I use it mostly for drying my cars and leaf blowing. It all cases, I'm in turbo mode. I can dry my car in 5 minutes in Turbo mode. I just wish they were cheaper. They have not dropped in price at all, I bought two other batteries (the same) two years ago at the same price. I also have several attachments for snow and trimming, so I never want to run out of power. But a thousand bucks for batteries? Wow.
