I purchased two of these for my living room.I would prefer more written instructions though.The shelves are very handy for displaying items and also providing a hidden place for other items in the bottom section. It’s not terrible, but I am very sensitive so I noticed.It is about 6 feet tall and is a nice size. I like the dark color too. The glass is real, the color is deep, and it's a generous size with adjustable shelves. Really like the bottom being concealed, and the top open. With the height it has, we were able to add a seperate blue shelving unit ontop of this piece, to maximize upward space.The cons are: shelves are not very strong- already one is bowing after less than 2 months of use from the books on it. Also, assembly took my husband majority of a Saturday, and he's pretty handy. The glass doors never did adjust quite properly, after multiple attempts using the instructions. Also, the hinges are not soft close, and slam shut. Hoping the glass does not break. I contacted the company about how these hinges could be adjusted for a slower close, but they did not respond.
