Probably the best book ever in plastic surgeries. A big advantage is that procedures are evidence based and the author reviewed much of the existing literature for each chapter. 2 bad things, many of the studies in his words and refrences are experimental (animals) in nature rather than multicentre/review ones which make the weight of evidence less. Second is the implant part.. I know he talked very nice in it,,but i wanted more new and advanced procedures. Zuchelli's book only covered the decision making for root coverage in an easier and clearer way than this book, the latter, however, is far supirior in photography and step by step detail and diversity of subjects compared to zucchelli's. both books however are a must have in the library of any periodontist. Probably the best book ever in plastic surgeries.
