I would buy it again. *by M***Y on December 1, 2017* I like this pack. It will function well as a grayman bugout pack in my trunk with a few basic items in it.I put the following in the backpack, and had plenty of room left for more...10" Acer Chromebook, 1 pair tennis shoes (size 10.5), Glock 17 mag, 2 Glock 19 mags, pen, sharpie, highlighter, Otterbox waterproof box, 30 round AK mag, jeans, t-shirt. That left empty two exterior mesh pockets, as well as quite a bit of room in the main compartment for other items with the shoes.The raincover is stored in a zippered compartment in the bottom of the backpack, and is black/light pink reversible. It covered the backpack when stuffed full, and was secure.The back of the backpack is padded and has airflow channels to keep your back cool.There is an interior pocket at the top of the main compartment for your phone/ipod, with a headphone jack. The other end of the headphone jack is a female end at the top end of the left shoulder strap. This puts the headphone plug in right below your left ear.The right shoulder strap has a mesh pocket with a picture of a phone on it, but unless you have a flip phone, it's not going to fit in it.Construction appears to be good quality.The carry handle on top has a cable running through it and seems to be very solid. All the stitching looks to be very secure. The computer sleeve in the main compartment is well padded, with padding underneath the computer when you set it down, so it isn't impacting the ground.What I didn't like:The carabiner that comes attached to the outside on a loop is a piece of junk. It is not spring loaded and does not stay closed. It'll go in the trash because I don't trust it to hold anything securely.The pockets for pens/pencils are about 1/2" too short, and the material is extremely thin. The pen clip didn't have much to hold on to.Three of the zippers were zipped on both sides of the zippers when I received it, so I had to work the zipper all the way to both ends to get the teeth to engage properly. It doesn't seem to have negatively affected the function of the zippers after that.Overall this is a well thought out backpack and I am pleased with my purchase! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good quality and has the several pockets for storage *by B*** on March 7, 2018* Bought this bag for a cruise to Mexico. The padding on the two over the shoulder backpack straps are very comfortable for long walks. There is plenty of space, but some wasted by many zipper compartments. The space for a cell phone is a joke. Maybe small flip phone would fit. That is why I only gave a 4 star rating. You might find another backpack at the same price, but this Cougar Backpack should be your choice.
