Review: Excellent quality plants and packaging - Plants arrived quickly and in a box marked 'OPEN NOW - LIVE PLANTS INSIDE', which is good because at least I knew then that the box contained my plants and not something else random that I'd ordered while drunk one evening! That aside, each plant pot had a cardboard shield across the top of the pot and underneath the plant itself, held in place by elastic bands, to help stop the compost from escaping. The plant pots themselves were held securely in place in the box and had a polythene wrap around them to stop the external box from getting soggy and to help stop the plants from dehydrating. The plants themselves are really good quality and healthy. Can't wait until spring when they start growing again!

- The flowers of Polygala chamaebuxus var grandiflora 'Kamniski' are profuse in early spring, often, but not invariably, with another flowering in summer.
- The flowers have deep, impressively purple-pink wings, with yellow central petals. These winged blooms are said to resemble pea flowers, hence sometimes called the Chapparal Pea; but they equally resemble miniature orchids.

**Q: Do you know if they will survive in the climate of the Scottish Highlands? Thanks.**
A: I think these plant are hardy down to minus 10, but as the temperature can drop pretty low in Scotland, they may not survive a harsh winter. However, they originate from Norway so may be give it a try?

**Q: Are these perennials?**
A: Yes they are perennials and spread  , low growing and help to keep weeds at bay

**Q: Are these plants likely to be eaten by snails? I often buy plants and find them devoured within days.**
A: No. Snails don't seem to like them. I have them planted in a small rockery and that is often visited by slugs and snails and they don't touch these plants. Think of them as box hedging with flowers because that's their look and growth rate, pretty slow growing.

**Q: Is this plant evergreen?**
A: Yes, it is a type of Box, incredibly slow-growing!  Flowers are exactly as in photo, so very colourful. The Box Tree Moth didn't attack this plant when it did almost kill off my Box hedge. It would take a long time for this to form a hedge though!
