Do not be under any illusion that the waterbed conditioner will do this - as I understand it, the conditioner only stabilises the tap water which is used to fill the bed. Even if you drain and replace the dirty water in a mattress, you still have the contaminant in the mattress, particularly sticking to the fibre baffle inside.A couple of months ago I bought this Aquashock and over the course of a couple of weeks the odour has markedly decreased. I will put one more bottle in and keep an eye on it.
