Is the 36 watts incorrect?** A: Hi Mark, I go this sent to me as a question. I didn't actually measure the power draw individually, but I did across the rig and my estimate would be that the wattage is in fact higher than the stated value. I can say though that for a MOLEX powered fan, they are INCREDIBLY powerful, they shift air like nothing else I know. BUT they are loud. And I mean loud enough that you will need to isolate them away from people if you want to have a normal conversation. Incredible performers. These really move the air, by a factor of 5 more than any desktop/PC 120mm fan I have ever used. So they really do an excellent job. They are however really noisy. This is understandable given the speed they turn at but this would be too much for an indoor or in home installation. They need to be in another room or something.
