The unit is quiet and very efficient. IT also does a great job! One nice thing about it is that the lower filter can be removed and cleaned. I figured that out because I ran it on high for a month and got a replace filter light. I decided to remove the filter and used my air tank to blow out the incredible amount of dirt and dog hair. Once cleaned, I reinstalled it and the light went out.
