Upon the initial spray, I was greeted with a lovely rose that was not overwhelming or sharp—a rare find for those who usually shy away from rose-heavy fragrances. It has a clean, floral vibe—think stepping out of the shower surrounded by soft, lingering soap scents—but it avoids that soapy undertone that can turn many off.As it dries, the rose softens and is joined by a subtle sweetness, almost like vanilla, giving the fragrance an unexpected gourmand touch. There’s a slight musky, spicy warmth, possibly from the patchouli, that brings a comforting depth without veering into anything too bold or sharp. The sweetness fades somewhat with time, but it stays warm and cozy, giving off a “cloud-like” comfort reminiscent of Cloud by Ariana Grande.It’s not as bold in projection as others, so I have to bring my wrist close to my nose to catch all the nuances. Still, it’s one of the few Pacifica fragrances that lasts on my skin, which is a plus.Unfortunately, I was not too thrilled with the scent of the body lotion. It vaguely resembles the fragrance but is nowhere near as strong, and it has a slightly off scent.
