Will this work with the Aquascape 200/300 pump?** A: Thanks for your question. This filter is recommended for use with pumps between 500 gph and 5000 gph. A 200/300 gph pump is likely not strong enough to power this filter. @ 500 gph the waterfall flow will be fairly slow. This filter should be far and away sufficient for a 55 gallon pond, but you will likely want and potentially may need a stronger pump. If you need more help you can call Pond & Garden Depot toll free at 1-866-305-5459 Cody H. Customer Service **Q: Water flow is too fast. How do you slow the water down? Change pumps?** A: It all depends on your pumps gph and the width of your plumbing lines. I had a 1000 gph pump and changed to an Alpine 2800 gph. Pushes the water much better now. **Q: The fitting is too small for my 1.5 inch id tubing. i have flexible pvc tubing. is there an adapter i can use?** A: You can buy a 1.5" PVC bulkhead fitting. You will probably have to drill out the existing hole with a 1.5" hole saw. **Q: Is the the threaded portion of the bulkhead fitting 1 1/4 inches?
