He wanted blue and all I could find via beats was a red cable - even phoned to speak to their helpdesk. In the end I accepted that I maybe couldn't get the blue so I tried this. It looks exactly the same but without the Beats branding. I have had a few now, they are used every day and generally lasted around 3-4 months.
