I used this on a Jubest pocket door which was too narrow to have both soft open and close from a competitor due to needing one actuator for both directions but this handled both on a 24" door just fine. I would also say that installation of this kit was easier than a competitors. Overall I'm thrilled as I didn't think it was going to be possible. Review: Bad mechanism - Works great until they fail. I have 11 pocket doors and 9 out of 11 soft close mechanisms failed. Once you trim out the door there is no way to get them out without ripping off the trim. If they fail then the door sticks out proud of the opening by 3/4 of an inch.
