What was I to do with the old cut out ceiling holes? Well these speaker grills did the trick. I cut new round drywall patches, spray painted them black, then secured the patches in the ceiling with wooden blocks behind. Then I fastened these speaker covers right over top. The dark shadowing in behind the back of the dummy speaker covers just looks as though I have 2 extra working speakers.
