**Q: , When you say the, 'back brick is approx. 23cm long and 16cm wide', do you mean 23cm width and 16cm height? (Are long and wide are the same thing?)**
A: The height is 16cms. The length is 23cms. 
My fireback is longer than 23 cms but I fill the gap with a smaller firebrick  on each side. 
They protect the fire grate snd save fuel too.

**Q: how high are this bricks please?**
A: The height of the two side bricks is 4 inches at the front and 6 inches at the back.  The back brick is 6 inches high. Hope this is of some help to you.

**Q: WHAT ARE THE SIZE OF EACH BRICK?**
A: back brick is approx. 23cm long and 16cm wide. the side bricks are sloped and around 20cm long. they fit my 16 inch open fire perfectly. hope that helps

**Q: can these be used in a fire with a back boiler**
