Allevyn Heel Dressing area Heel ALLEVYN Heel is an advanced medication for the care and management of pressure ulcers located in the heel. Characteristics Dressing non-adhesive polyurethane foam hydrocellular anatomically shaped for the heel for an upper management of fluids and an effective discharging pressure in the treatment of wounds in a moist environment. ALLEVYN Heel has tripled its effectiveness in the management of fluid through increased breathability and speed of absorption. This mode optimizes the wound environment, enabling: - A more rapid healing - A reduction in the risk of maceration. Indications Among the locations most at risk of developing pressure sores, after the sacred, the bead area is at higher risk. The dressing has a peculiar structure in triple layer of polyurethane. ALLEVYN Heel consists of: - An outer layer of polyurethane film, impermeable to liquids and bacteria, equipped with dynamic breathability able to create an impenetrable barrier to the defense of the lesion - An intermediate layer soft and absorbent polyurethane foam hydrocellular with internal dispersion of particles of polyethylene glycol - A layer of contact with the wound perforated, non-adherent.
