Review: Love this baby gate! - I was looking for something that didn’t look like a typical baby gate. I took a chance on the color because it looked a little lighter in the example picture but it matched our stairs exactly! It was hard trying to open the gate at first but you get used to it. If I had the second chance I would definitely buy this product again! Review: Perfect solution to the toddler phase - We love this gate! We really didn’t want to have anything bulky or difficult but we needed the safety for our toddler. It looks very nice while having great function. We just ordered another one for another place in our home. The set up is simple, I am not handy and I was able to complete with no assistance. A great deal for the price too. ## Features - Wide Width: Fits openings 30" - 48" (76cm - 122cm). 32" (81cm) tall. I have these gates on three doorways in my house to close off rooms that I don't want my dogs to go into. They are sturdy and have done a great job holding up against my dogs leaning against them. **Q: Can anyone with a gate after the 2016 design change upload a photo of the hinges (which reportedly don't allow the gate to be lifted off easily)?** A: I have bought this gate repeatedly for over 10 years.I just bought one in feb 2019 and the hinges are the same. **Q: Our gate is impossible to open with one hand only and it is not sliding well at all, is this typical with this gate?** A: I actually have three of these gates. It is easy to open if u squeeze, push toward the wall and then open. **Q: Is the gate still 32 inches after it is installed?** A: The top of my gate as installed is 35 inches from the floor. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this baby gate! *by B***T on July 26, 2019* I was looking for something that didn’t look like a typical baby gate. I took a chance on the color because it looked a little lighter in the example picture but it matched our stairs exactly! It was hard trying to open the gate at first but you get used to it. If I had the second chance I would definitely buy this product again! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect solution to the toddler phase *by T***N on March 16, 2026* We love this gate! We really didn’t want to have anything bulky or difficult but we needed the safety for our toddler. It looks very nice while having great function. We just ordered another one for another place in our home. The set up is simple, I am not handy and I was able to complete with no assistance. A great deal for the price too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ But of a challenge to operate- but perfect for the job *by K***R on June 2, 2026* This is very sturdy and has worked great! The 4 stars is only because it's hard to figure out how to open and close if you've never used it before like our guests. You have to push, push, pull to get it open and you have to push the lever on it to get it to lock in place. Great for who you're trying to keep in or out, but more challenging for people who want to get in and out. Otherwise, great durability and good color. ## Frequently Bought Together - Evenflo Walk-Thru Top Of Stairs Baby Gate (Farmhouse Collection), 48"W x 32"H - Safety Innovations No Hole Stairway Baby Gate Mounting Kit - Fits Posts from 2 3/4 inches to 3 1/2 inches Wide with Square or Round Tops - No Adhesives On Or Screws in Your Posts, (1-Pack) - Regalo Easy Step 38.5-Inch Wide Walk Thru Baby Gate, Includes 6-Inch Extension Kit, Pressure Mount Kit, Wall Cups --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/58247595-walk-thru-top-of-stairs-baby-gate-farmhouse-collection](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/58247595-walk-thru-top-of-stairs-baby-gate-farmhouse-collection) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
