Buy the cheaper one with "diamond" tips ... which are coated with diamond dust and work fairly well. **Q: What is the largest hole size you can ream with this? I need to ream 3mm diameter holes in a large quantity of stone beads.** A: HI,,,3mm is pretty big, and I dont have any experience using the reamer for anything other than enlarging existing holes in genuine, not glass, pearls. Why not investigate getting a cordless drill from the hardware store that is designed to take small drill bits. I have one that I use for mother of pearl pieces that come with no holes.
