## Overview

The Curzon CUR7004B is a 100mm centrifugal humidistat timer fan designed for efficient, quiet ventilation. Featuring a built-in humidity sensor, it intelligently activates during rapid humidity increases and offers adjustable timer settings. With a powerful 23 L/s extraction rate, ultra-quiet 26dB operation, and energy-efficient 35W power consumption, it’s IP24 rated, BEAB and CE approved, making it a reliable choice for modern, health-conscious environments.

## Description

This model incorporates a built in condensation (humidity) sensor. The intelligent humidity control automatically tracks the background humidity level. If the control detects a rapid rise in humidity over a few minutes, the fan will switch on. Once the fan has reduced the humidity level, the control will turn the fan off and reset itself. The control will not turn the fan on if the humidity level rises as a result of a change in the weather. To permit the control to work at high humidity levels (as caused by drying clothes indoors), it is provided with a manually adjustable set point. This is set at approx 75º RH at the factory and should not require any further adjustment. The unit can also be connected to work in conjunction with the room light switch when no humidity is detected. When the light is switched on the fan starts, when the fan is switched off the fan continues to run for a pre-set time. For this functionality to operate you require a permanent live, switched live and neutral (3 cores + earth) at the fan position. If you have only two cores (live and neutral) the fan cannot operate in conjunction with the room light but will work with the humidity functionality.
