Review: Excellent Inspection Camera for Hard-to-Reach Areas - This borescope is a very useful tool for inspecting areas that would otherwise require taking equipment apart. The two-way articulating tip makes it much easier to look around corners, inside cabinets, behind components, and through tight openings. The image is clear, the built-in light provides good visibility, and the controls are easy to use. The articulating head is what really sets it apart from a basic inspection camera. Instead of just pushing the cable around and hoping it points in the right direction, I can guide the camera exactly where I need it. It has saved time on troubleshooting and helped confirm problems before doing unnecessary disassembly. A well-designed, dependable tool that is worth keeping in the service truck.
Review: Out-freaking-standing tool - This is a great tool and well worth what it cost. It's useful not just for looking inside things, but for looking around things that are obscured. I recently used it to diagnose a coolant leak in my vehicle, which I suspected was coming from the water pump weep hole. I used this borescope to take a look at the underside of the water pump. Had to be done with the motor running, and the flexible steel shaft worked particularly well. It allows you to bend the shaft into the desired shape, and it will hold that shape. That coupled with the articulating head made it possible to do the deed. As it turned out the water pump was fine, so this scope saved me the time and aggravation of changing out a part that's not broke. Image quality is excellent and in color. And the ability to capture images and video is just icing on the cake. This thing is the bomb shizzle. Very glad I bought it. Used it again on a radiator replacement - which is where the leak WAS coming from. I inspected the inside of the new radiator to make sure there was no debris in it, and I used it to insure that the pins on the bottom were properly aligned with the brackets on the A/C condenser. And where it was absolutely invaluable was with the snap coupling for the transmission cooler. I was able to look inside the coupler to see if the tabs were properly engaged, and I didn't like what I saw. Took the fitting back apart, bent the tabs out a bit, and reassembled. Looked again and verified that all four tabs had positive engagement. There's no way I could have inspected that fitting without the articulating head on this little jewel. This is rapidly becoming one of my favorite tools - and I've got a LOT of tools. Used it again on a harmonic balancer replacement. It was exactly the tool I needed for initial diagnosis. After hearing a thump followed by a vibration, I was able to quickly look at the rubber on the HB and I could clearly see that it was cracked all the way around. I could get access to the balancer from the bottom without having to remove a bunch of stuff, but when installing the new HB I had no way to actually see if the groove was lined up properly with the key. It felt like it was okay, but there's no substitute for getting eyes on. So out came the Teslong and in less than a minute I was able to look directly into the end of the harmonic balancer and I could clearly see the key in the notch. The applications for this thing are endless.

This borescope is a very useful tool for inspecting areas that would otherwise require taking equipment apart. The two-way articulating tip makes it much easier to look around corners, inside cabinets, behind components, and through tight openings. The image is clear, the built-in light provides good visibility, and the controls are easy to use. The articulating head is what really sets it apart from a basic inspection camera. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Quality, Great For Plumbing

As a plumber working in an arctic climate, a large portion of my work involves locating and repairing burst pipes. This camera looked like a good option, so I decided to give it a try. The delivery arrived a day later than expected, but the timing still worked out. I was already on a difficult job trying to track down a leak in a ceiling that would normally require cutting out a bunch of drywall while trying to trace. About ten minutes into evaluating this job (before having to cut open the ceiling), I received the delivery notification. I went home to pick it up, returned to the job site, and unpacked it. Right out of the box, the camera was turn-key ready. It took less than a minute to get familiar with the controls before putting it to work. I was immediately impressed! Not only was I able to quickly narrow down the general location of the leak (by drilling a few 1/2 inch holes through the drywall to push the camera through, and being able to turn the head back around to look for trails on the backside), but the articulating head allowed me to pinpoint the exact source—a severely rotted copper pipe, on top of another pipe, located nowhere near where the water was actually showing up. Because of the maneuverability, I was able to find the problem and make the repair with minimal drywall cutting and far less damage than would normally be required. The light output is noticeably brighter than my Ridgid brand borescope, and the image quality is extremely clear. The articulating head does feel somewhat delicate due to the mechanics involved, but that’s not a downside—it just means you can’t treat it like a battering ram like I can do with my Ridgid scope. Overall, I was immediately impressed with the performance and ease of use. For anyone needing a capable inspection camera, especially in tight or concealed spaces, I would absolutely recommend it.
