When compared to a classic aluminum hook, the “corresponding” size wasn’t even close. The hooks themselves are not marked by size, so unless they are in the corresponding slot and you remember what size the set starts with, you don’t know what size hook you are using. The inside of the hook case is not marked either, so you need to know the span of hook sizes you have and keep them in order. I love the light aspect of these hooks, but because there is one base and multiple interchangeable hooks, the yarn kept getting stuck at the base of the hook where it meets the holder. Due to the design, there was nothing I could do about it. I love the fact that it was rechargeable, but I found the entire kit of hooks too cumbersome and irritating to use.
