Review: Neat Product - Update: 5/2/2022 I have now used this device for a few months. Still working. The Smart Life app was updated several times since. It is now much more reliable. Suggestion when driving up to the garage: start the app; wait for about 10 seconds before using the app (give time for the internet connection to be established). Even though it is not 100%, it works so well that I am increasing my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Another use: our Toyota Highlander's built in garage door opener has such a weak signal that on some days it only works if the car is inches from the garage door. Using AgsHome Smart Door Opener Remote, I can open the garage from a reasonable distance without any problem. Only problem is fumbling around to get the phone out, open the app, establish the connection, etc. You know. Phone stuff. Buy this product. It is easy to install. It works. It is very convenient and helpful. Original review: My garage's third keypad is already failing. I don't think that keypads like Minnesota winters. I also need another remote. I saw this product. Not only is it less money than a replacement keypad, but with this device I can give permissions for all of our family to have access to our door. Installation was simple. The only thing that I did different was to replace the magnet used as part of the closed door detection with a very strong cabinet magnet. Since the edge of the door is metalic, I was able to mount the magnet on our door without needing to drill any extra holes. The opener works well. As this is connected through our homes network, and that is connected to Internet, I can open the door from a distance greater than what works with the garage's own remote controls. I appreciate that the app notifies me whenever the door is opened or closed. That said, once you open the remote app, it does not always work immediately. If you try repeatidly to open the door, you may actually be triggering multiple events: the door may open and close several times. My simple solution is to wait for 10-15 seconds after I open the app to the garage door opener page. Then I trigger the door. Works fine. I have a ton of devices in our home that I control through Alexa. Although Alexa has detected the tool and the opener has the ability to be intergrated, I did not see the use so I do not have Alexa controling the garage. I have been using the AGSHOME Smart Garage Door Opener for a bit over a month. So far so good. Have already recommended to others.

**Q: Where is the technical guide so I can see if my garage door opened is compatible?! My opened is over 10 years old so I’m assuming not!**
A: My Craftsman opener was on the list of compatible ones. It even had the purple-learning button. 
The main this is that it's best to short across the existing wall-switch terminals to see if you can open/close the door.
I did struggle to get the wifi set-up... but finally did (even though I'm not sure what I did after multiple tries - might have been a wifi strength issue).

A: Hello, the new model can check the garage door status, and some bugs  , Make more convenient

**Q: Will this work with Genie 2024, it has yellow learn button?**
A: Hello. you may need a adapter to make it work.

**Q: Can i ask alexa, "is the garage closed?" will she know the answer?**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT PRODUCT AND EASY INSTALL

The product arrived quickly and packaged very nicely. A lot of various included mounting hardware is included (3M tape (very strong) and various wire hooks and tie ups. My install took about 1 hour but mainly because I had trouble finding the wiring diagram for my opener (which terminals I needed to connect). I did the install completely by myself. The pairing of the opener was quick, but like the other reviews, make sure you are using 2.4GHz WiFi. The app quickly connects with Google home and you can easily control it from there. The app recommended is nice, but you can use similar apps if you have other smart devices, we ended up using Go Smart App as I have Geeni Smart switches which use this same app. Overall I am very satisfied with the opener and will update this if we experience any issues. I found one issue with Google Home that drove me crazy, it was asking for a PIN to open the garage (security requirement) and I couldn't figure out how to set it. Luckily an Amazon customer, PsyOpWarlord posted the instructions [credit to PsyOpWarlord]: Go into the Smart Life app and click on your Garage Door, click the Bell Icon next to where it says Open or Closed to go into the Alarm settings. Click Set Password and you will be able to set your PIN code it will ask you for when you opening the door with Google Home voice control.
