Review: All Plastic inside is REMOVABLE! - In addition to the removable filter (which I wanted to remove because it has plastic components) the piece inside the kettle which holds the plastic filter is plastic as well, but could be snapped out easily! I was thrilled about that, as now there is no plastic inside the kettle at all!!! It seems to work as expected, and is really cute. I also have the matching toaster. Love them both!

In addition to the removable filter (which I wanted to remove because it has plastic components) the piece inside the kettle which holds the plastic filter is plastic as well, but could be snapped out easily! I like the size and color of it. The cord is long enough. It heats quickly with very little noise. It is easy to clean; we don't heat anything but water in it. The one thing we don't like about is is the plastic strainer in it. It can be removed. But that part is not in contact with the water rexcept for a few seconds,so that's not overly concerning to us.
