BL550 Classic 550 Chelsea Boot

Some time ago I bought a pair of RS Williams handmade ankle boots which were/are supremely comfortable. However, they have a smooth leather sole and as such less than ideal for winter. I'm also getting a tad older and I find that I want a bit of cushioning as I'm doing a lot of walking - in most part to counter the lack of gyms being open where I work overseas thanks to the dreaded virus. So, I found these. The marketing blurb makes a big deal about these being traditional Aussie boots with all the PR bumph that comes with it. Fact is that whilst it may well be the case that some of their footware is made in Oz, most of it is made to spec in a factory in the Far East - Vietnam being where these are made I believe. That being said, the fact is that they are not outrageously expensive and that means that they can only be made where labour is cheaper. Fact of life I guess. So, quality. Fantastic. I did read other reviews and some were less than impressed. However, my experience is all good with these boots to my mind being well made and so far wearing very well indeed. Comfort is excellent. Really. I'm slap bang in the middle of a UK size 8 or EU size 42 and these fit both feet perfectly. I would add that my plates of meat are relatively slim and of equal size which, I know isn't the case for all. Given the fit, I would say that if you have hooves more like a Hobbit then these might be a tad tight for you. The sole is a resilient comfortable man made one that is good on wet pavements, i.e. I'm not slipping around constantly worried about ending up on my backside. Overall, for me these are a winner. Fit and finish is very good and the price entirely reasonable for a decent pair of boots.

Very comfortable long lasting boots. This purchase is my second pair. My first pair lasted a good six years of Monday to Friday wear at work. They probably could have gone another couple of years too if required, I just had the opportunity to get a new pair. The only real wear was fading in the colour and worn soles. But even worn they were extremely comfortable and I only realised they were pretty worn when I compared them to the new pair. They are smart enough to wear in the office but are sturdy enough for regular outdoor wear too.

I've got to say, I really find my Blundstones comfortable, easy on/off and fairly durable. So much so, that they were my most worn shoes since I got them. After 20 months, one of the inner lining above the over and above the toes had begun to tear. I contacted Blundstone UK. After sending pictures, they agreed they should have lasted longer and sent me a brand new pair. Great company, great service!!!

Brilliant boots and the best price I could find on the internet!

Uncomfortable when brand new, hard to get on and off, chafed the top of my foot. But after two weeks of persevering they are fine, comfortable, can wear them for hours without feeling the need to take them off. Pleased with them.

These boots are gorgeous, stylish, well made and very robust. After reading lots of reviews, I ordered a half size below my usual size and they fit perfect. They rubbed for the first couple of wears as expected, but now seem to have moulded to my feet shape. These are excellent boots for dog walking on all terrain and perfect for around the yard. Totally waterproof and very cosy. Would highly recommend.

Bought for garden work and country walking. Also treated my partner to a pair. Not as comfortable or well made as my 15 year old Timberlands. They are a little tight (size UK 8) and I would of ordered a half a size up given hindsight. I'm hoping that they stretch and become softer as they season.

普段、スニーカーは27.5センチ、革靴は26.5〜27.0センチです。 あまり行儀が良く無いとは分かりつつも実店舗でしっかりサイズ合わせを行い、26.5センチを価格の安いAmazonで購入しました。 本商品はレッドウィングなどの本革ブーツと比べるととても軽く履きやすいです。スニーカーとブーツの中間のような履きやすさですが、履いてみると足首のホールド感もあり、やはりブーツなんだなと実感します。 アッパーの素材感も上質で傷もなく期待通りでした！ とても気に入りましたが、防水性を高めるためにソールの接着方法が他のブーツとは異なるためソール交換は難しい商品のようなのが唯一残念です。

Erst einmal: Wir waren schon dreimal in Australien und jedes Mal habe ich diese Boots bewundert, aber nie gekauft. Nun halt online. Ich bin von der Qualität, trotzdem sie in Asien gefertigt werden, überzeugt (ein Großteil der Apple Produkte z.B. werden auch in China hergestellt). Das Leder ist toll, die Sohle sieht durabel aus, die Nähte sind akurat. Die Sohlen sind rausnehmbar (ein Paar weitere, sehr einfache Einlegesohlen lag bei). Nur mit den Größen ist es echt schwierig. Ich weiß, dass ich eigentlich in den meisten Schuhen eine 38,5 (5,5) habe, zuweilen eine 39 (6). Zunächst habe ich ein tolles Angebot von Blundstones Ladys Boots in rot/burgundy gesehen. In 38,5 bestellt - es wurde eine 4,5 geliefert, die natürlich viel zu klein waren - die Schuhe gingen leider zurück. Im Globetrotter habe ich dann eine 5 und eine 6 probiert, das eine zu klein, das andere wirklich vieeel zu groß, die 6 schlackerte überall am Fuß und sah auch einfach nur riesig aus. Ist ja mal locker 1cm länger als die 5. Prinzipiell sind die halben Größen (es war dort leider keine vorrätig) bei Blundstones zwar nicht länger, aber haben etwas mehr Spielraum, was die Weite angeht. So habe ich hier die 38,5 bestellt und auch die zu erwartende 5,5 erhalten - passt, wackelt und hat Luft. Vorn noch genug Luft, um mit den Zehen zu wackeln und beim Laufen nicht anzustoßen - und allgemein kein zu starkes Engegefühl, trotzdem snug überm Spann. Beim Laufen hat die Ferse ca. 1cm Spiel nach oben. Nur am linken Fuß merke ich die hintere sehr harte Fersenverstärkung ein wenig und hoffe, dass sich das mit dem Einlaufen noch gibt. Ein Top Stiefel, der zu vielem passt - rustikal, perfekt zu Jeans aber auch zu Shorts oder mal einem Rock. Sehen auch nicht so klobig aus, wie befürchtet. Der Herbst kann kommen! Der Stiefel wurde übrigens als braun verkauft, ist aber rustic brown in Nubuk. Eine fantastische Farbe!!
