So for the cost of £12, I thought the gamble would be worth it and it was. The thermostat arrived promptly I fitted it to my oven and it works great. The genuine part number for this cooker was different, but I did my research, knowing it was the same specification and manufacturer so made the plunge... The only difference is that this has a longer probe wire and needed two washers to make it fit.... Otherwise it works perfectly.... £10.50 to fix my oven, rather than the quoted £55-80 for the genuine part or £200-400 for a new oven. Awesome.
