This is a great pack of puzzles for beginners since this assortment is heavily weighted toward easy puzzles. (Plus you can find all of them solved and put back together on YouTube of you get really stuck). The hardest were the quartet and enigma puzzles.I will say the manufacturing is okay but nothing special. The puzzles all do work and there are no sharp edges, but there are definitely higher quality versions of these same puzzles out there. There are also ten pack assortments like this for less money which might be a better deal from a pure quality standpoint (its a bit overpriced hence the lost star). Plus these come in individual plastic baggies, not really giftable without some effort on the buyer's part to spruce it up.

I intended these to be for my 10 year old (mostly because they advertise for "family game"), however these are much too difficult for kids. They are solvable, but even I, as a puzzle loving person, have difficulty with some of these. I can't for the life of me figure out the ring one (second photo). But the others weren't too bad.They each require multiple steps to solve and the design is very intentional. You'll see small spots that are slightly slimmer or slightly wider for you to move the pieces a particular way.I enjoy them, but I don't think these are meant for kids. Great for adults though.
