## Description

The LavaTap VT1 is a replacement motor head for Honeywell V4043H 2 port motorised zone valves, including the common V4043H1056 found in S-Plan central heating and hot water systems. It opens and closes the valve on demand from your programmer or room thermostat, and its end switch brings on the boiler and pump when the zone is open.Please note: this is the head only. The brass valve body is not included. The head fits onto your existing Honeywell V4043H body, so the water side is not opened and the system does not need draining. If the valve body itself is leaking or seized, the complete valve needs replacing instead.Is the head the problem? Common signs are a valve that stays stuck open or closed while the controls are calling for heat, or a zone that never comes on. If the programmer, room thermostat, wiring centre or boiler has failed, a new head will not fix the fault, so check those first.Compatibility: fits Honeywell V4043H 2 port valve bodies, 22mm and 28mm. It is not suitable for Drayton, Danfoss or Myson valve bodies, and it will not replace a Honeywell V4073 3 port mid position valve head. Check the label on your old head first.Fitting: isolate the mains supply, remove the old head from the valve body and disconnect its cable at the wiring centre. Fit the VT1 onto the body with the 2 screws supplied. The screws are loose rather than captive, so allow a little room to hold and start them if the valve sits in a tight cupboard. Wire like for like: blue neutral, brown live, green/yellow earth, grey and orange switch. If you are not confident with mains wiring, use a qualified electrician or heating engineer.Specification: 230V 50Hz, 5 core cable, AUTO and MAN manual lever for filling and venting, flow temperature 5 to 80°C, maximum static pressure 8.6 bar, ambient up to 50°C, silver metal cover, UKCA and CE marked. 5 year warranty. In the box: VT1 valve head and 2 fixing screws.
