This is "good fat" cod oil, you want to eat it/drink it/add it to egg salad, or something (don't cook it.). It is a little pricey, but worth it and a great way to get vitamins A and D. It's actually cheaper if you buy it by the 12 pack, too. **Q: Could you make a pate with these similar to chicken liver pate to serve with crackers? Looking for ways to eat besides plain.** A: I don't see why not...that would be great! They're much softer than chicken livers, so just mash with a fork, add your seasonings, and you'd be good to go! **Q: How many cod livers per can?** A: They are the same size as sardines stuffed inside.
